Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.06% in July 6–Monday
MOSCOW, Jul 14 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation decelerated to 0.06% from July 6 to Monday from 0.46% in the previous week, and reached 4.6% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
The sugar prices increased by 0.12% in the period, sunflower oil prices by 0.31%, poultry prices by 0.19%, while egg prices decreased by 0.6%. Prices for buckwheat rose by 0.17%, flour prices fell by 0.05%, and pasta prices by 0.02%.
Fruit and vegetable prices fell by 1.3% on average. Carrot prices rose by 1.9%, cabbage by 4.2%, while potato prices decreased by 5.4%, cucumber prices by 4.5%, and tomato prices by 4.8%.
Gasoline prices increased 0.1% and diesel fuel ones by 0.2%.
